CreatorSnip is a free Chrome extension built by The Beans Media. This page explains what the extension does and does not do with your data.

CreatorSnip does not collect any data from you. It does not track what websites you visit. It does not record what text you copy. It does not send anything to any server. When you use the screen snip feature the text gets processed entirely on your own device using a library called Tesseract.js that runs inside your browser. Nothing leaves your computer.

The only thing CreatorSnip stores is your last five copied text snippets so you can access them again without losing them. That history lives in your browser locally using Chrome storage. We cannot see it. We cannot access it. It never goes anywhere.

We do not use Google Analytics on this extension. We do not use any tracking pixels. We do not know how many times you use the tool or what you copy with it.

If you uninstall the extension your local history is deleted automatically.
